This notice explains how the Travel Mood website and web application use cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies. If you have a question about this notice, contact Bold CX Ltd through the Contact us page.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are short text files, usually made up of letters and numbers, that a website stores on your device. They allow a website to recognise a browser, remember a choice or support a technical function.
A session cookie normally expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains until its stated expiry or until you delete it. A first-party cookie is set by the website you visit; a third-party cookie is set by another domain through a service used on that website.
2. Local storage and similar technologies
Local storage is browser storage associated with a website. Unlike a traditional cookie, it is not automatically sent with every web request. Travel Mood uses it for authentication and functional state. This notice covers that storage as well as cookies so you can understand the full browser inventory.
3. Strictly necessary and functional storage
The Travel Mood storage listed below supports requested features, security and functional choices. These technologies are not used to build advertising profiles.

Type: first-party cookie in protected non-public environments
Purpose: protects development or release-preview boundaries from unauthorised access.
Duration: limited to the protected access session or the stated testing period.
4. Performance, analytics and advertising cookies
Travel Mood loads a CookieYes consent banner on the website. You can use the banner to review and manage the cookie choices it offers for your browser. These choices are separate from the account settings for how your traveller information is used.
If you allow analytics in CookieYes, Google Analytics helps us understand website visits and how people use Travel Mood. The Google tag is not loaded before analytics consent. You can change your choice through the CookieYes settings.
5. Third-party services
Some features load content from or direct you to external services:
- CookieYes: provides the website cookie-consent banner and accessibility widget. Their availability and choices may depend on provider configuration.
- Google Analytics: measures website usage after analytics consent is granted through CookieYes.
- Stripe: membership checkout and billing management may open Stripe’s hosted pages, where Stripe uses its own security and fraud-prevention technologies under its notices.
- Google Maps and Places: map, place and location-media resources are loaded where those features are used and may be governed by Google’s terms and privacy notices.
- External suppliers and app stores: booking handoffs and mobile purchase flows may use technologies controlled by the relevant supplier, Apple, Google or another platform under its own notices.
We do not list unverified third-party cookie names because they may depend on the external page, device, location, account and provider configuration. Once you leave Travel Mood, the external provider controls its own cookies.
6. How to manage browser storage
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and site data. You can use your browser’s privacy or site settings to clear both cookies and local storage for Travel Mood. If you use more than one browser or device, you must manage each separately.
Blocking or deleting strictly necessary storage may sign you out, prevent authentication, remove an unfinished guest brief or referral, reset interface preferences, or make dismissed notices appear again. We are not responsible for features that cannot operate because required browser storage has been disabled.
Browser guidance is available from the support pages for Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and other browsers.
7. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the browser inventory, Service or law changes. The date above identifies the latest version. If Travel Mood introduces optional analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this notice and the consent controls as appropriate before using them.
