A. General Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Travel Mood website, mobile application, related pages, accounts, forms, planning tools, memberships, concierge features and other services we make available (together, “Travel Mood” or the “Service”).
By accessing or using Travel Mood, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. Additional terms shown during a purchase, supplier handoff, booking request or app-store transaction also apply to that transaction. If those specific terms conflict with these Terms, the specific terms prevail for that transaction.
1. Who provides Travel Mood
Travel Mood is owned and operated by Bold CX Ltd, company number 14372931, of C/o Argyle House, 3rd Floor Northside, Joel Street, Northwood Hills, Middlesex, HA6 1NW, United Kingdom (“Bold CX”, “we”, “us”).
2. Purpose of the Service
Travel Mood is a travel-planning and trip-management product. It may provide mood-led destination discovery, AI-assisted itineraries, maps and wishlists, trip collaboration, traveller profiles, shared expenses, external booking records, travel-search results, memberships and, for eligible users, concierge request management.
We may modify, improve, restrict, suspend or discontinue any feature, plan, allowance, destination coverage or content. Completing a form, running a search, generating an itinerary, saving an offer or submitting a concierge request does not by itself create a booking or oblige us or any supplier to provide a travel service.
3. Accounts and eligibility
An account is required for private planning and account features. You must provide accurate and complete information, keep it current and protect your credentials. Your account is personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our breach.
If you provide information or make a request for another traveller, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and will make these Terms and any applicable supplier terms available to them. Where a traveller is a minor, the responsible adult must have authority to provide their details and make decisions on their behalf.
4. AI planning and travel information
Itineraries, destination suggestions, refinements and other text may be generated using artificial intelligence. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, unavailable or wrong and is provided for planning assistance only. It is not professional, legal, medical, immigration, safety or financial advice.
Before acting, you must verify important details with authoritative sources and the relevant supplier, including prices, availability, opening times, routes, transport schedules, accessibility, entry requirements, passports, visas, insurance, health advice, local laws, safety conditions and cancellation rules. Generated content is not a booking, hold or guarantee.
5. Memberships, credits and billing
Features and allowances vary by plan. Membership prices are catalogued annually in EUR, while the final charge amount and currency are shown before checkout. Payments may be processed by Stripe on the web or through the applicable app-store purchase flow on mobile. Those providers may apply their own payment terms.
A recurring membership renews automatically for the period shown at checkout until cancelled. You may cancel through the billing channel used to subscribe. Cancellation normally stops future renewal and does not remove access already paid for. Upgrades may begin immediately with a prorated charge; a downgrade may take effect at the next renewal, as shown before confirmation. Refunds are governed by applicable law and any specific checkout or app-store terms.
AI credits are usage allowances, not money. They cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or used outside the Service. Different actions may use different amounts, and an itinerary may use credits according to its duration as explained in the product. Failed or abandoned actions are handled according to the status recorded by the Service. Promotional, referral, family or administrator-granted access may have separate eligibility, duration and usage limits.
6. Search results, suppliers and actual availability
Travel Mood may display information or availability received from maps, travel-data providers, airlines, hotels, activity providers or other third parties. Search results, photographs, descriptions, times, prices and availability may change and are not guaranteed. Currency preferences do not convert or relabel a supplier’s native price unless an explicit conversion is shown.
Unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing, the relevant third-party supplier provides the travel service and controls its availability, acceptance, performance, safety, licensing, insurance, changes, cancellation and refunds. Supplier terms may include check-in rules, age or health restrictions, deposits, baggage limits, cancellation windows and other participation requirements. You must review and comply with them.
7. Requests, bookings and concierge
A concierge request, saved search result, itinerary item, proposal or message is an enquiry until the relevant service, final price, payment terms and supplier conditions are expressly confirmed. Travel Mood may help organise a request or direct you to a supplier, but it does not guarantee acceptance or availability.
The current supplier travel-search flow does not itself reserve inventory, create a hold or collect supplier payment. Where a secure payment link or external booking route is provided, follow the instructions and terms shown for that transaction. Do not enter payment-card data, passwords or unnecessary identity-document numbers into free-text fields.
Supplier cancellations, changes and refunds are governed by the terms communicated for that booking. Tell us promptly about a problem with a concierge-arranged service so we can provide reasonable assistance, but assistance does not make us responsible for obligations belonging to the supplier.
8. Traveller responsibilities
You are responsible for providing timely, complete and accurate traveller, contact, destination and participation information. You and each traveller must hold required documents, arrive on time, follow provider instructions and ensure that the service is suitable in light of age, health, mobility, fitness, allergies, medication and other relevant circumstances.
A supplier may refuse or restrict a service where requirements are not met, information is incomplete, payment is outstanding, participation is unsafe or its terms are breached. Charges, credits or refunds in those circumstances are determined by the applicable supplier terms and law.
9. Collaboration, family access and user content
Sharing a trip can give invited buddies or family members access to selected trip information. Removing a connection may remove mutual trip access and affect shared-expense participation. Organisers control family invitations and eligible household access as described in the product.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service and provide features you request. You must have the right to submit the content and must not upload anything unlawful, infringing, malicious or misleading.
10. Communications
We may contact you through email, in-app messages, push notifications or other contact methods you provide about your account, authentication, invitations, trips, subscriptions, concierge requests, bookings, security and support. Marketing communications require the applicable choice or consent and can be managed separately from essential service messages.
11. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Travel Mood for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or abusive purposes;
- submit false, misleading or unauthorised personal information;
- attempt unauthorised access to the Service, another account or underlying systems;
- introduce malicious code, overload, disrupt, scrape or bypass technical restrictions;
- copy, resell or commercially exploit the Service or its content without permission; or
- use AI output, supplier data or other content in a way that infringes rights or creates a safety risk.
12. Intellectual property
Travel Mood and its software, brand, designs, text, graphics, navigation, layouts and other materials are owned by Bold CX or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual-property law. Except where the law permits, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display or commercially exploit them without prior written permission. Third-party maps, photographs, offers and supplier content remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms.
13. Availability and third-party links
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We use reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation, or that content will always be complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. Links and handoffs to external services are provided for convenience. We do not control their content, availability, policies or practices.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, Bold CX is not responsible for acts or omissions of independent suppliers; travel disruption; supplier cancellation or delay; loss of luggage or property; missed connections; weather, strikes or government action; your failure to meet participation or documentation requirements; or losses caused by relying on AI output or unverified information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability relating to a paid Travel Mood membership will not exceed the amount you paid to us for that membership during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law or to amounts paid directly to a third-party supplier.
15. Suspension, cancellation and account deletion
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, investigate misuse, respond to legal obligations, address non-payment or enforce these Terms. We may terminate access for a serious or repeated breach.
You may permanently delete your Travel Mood account from the profile settings after explicit confirmation. Deleting the account is separate from cancelling a subscription through Stripe or an app store. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, security, dispute or financial purposes, as explained in the Privacy Notice.
16. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal data is collected, used, shared and retained. Our Cookies Notice explains the cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies used by the web application. You should read both notices before submitting personal data.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, our business or the law. The revised Terms take effect when published unless we state otherwise. Where a change materially affects an active paid membership, we will provide notice where required by law. The date above identifies the latest version.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
19. Contact
For questions about the Service or these Terms, contact Bold CX Ltd through the Contact us page. Please include enough information for us to identify and respond to your request.
